Last from BIT+ Series 14 "Saturday Mornings 2" comes two more characters from the cartoon Adventure Time, Princess Bubblegum and BMO. Both of these characters were fun to design, especially BMO, and am happy with the end result. With that, Series 14 comes to a close and with that is probably the end of the BIT+ Paper Toys being released in the series format. I have been going back and forth on this but as much as I have liked designing 8 characters with a theme at one time, it ties me up with one theme for too long and some of the characters are a struggle to finish because I really want to move onto another character. There are enough themes now (a manga theme will release sometime in early 2015) that I can bounce around adding a character or two at a time from each theme, instead designing 8 from just one. Doing it this way will keep me more stoked and motivated to finish more characters and should see characters that are requested at shows actually done a lot soone

Releasing next from BIT+ Series 14 "Saturday Mornings 2", comes along another character from the cartoon Adventure Time, Marceline. I like this character visually. She seems like a cool character. So far I have only seen the first season and read the one TPB of Adventure Time. Marceline doesn't appear that often in those but I dig her and look forward to seeing more of her as I catch up with the rest of the Adventure Time cartoon and comics. Next up from ITP Studios, BIT+ Series 14 "Saturday Mornings 2", comes the leader of the Decepticons, MEGATRON!! Probably the hardest character to design from this series. His whole mid section was the most difficult to do but I am happy with how it turned out. Don't really have much to say other then about this one. Happy with how he looks. Cool Character. One of the cooler Transformers which is one of the cartoons that I loved as a kid and still done as an adult (I'm really just a big kid). Thank you for all the support and enjoy the BIT+ Paper Toy. Today ITP Studios rolls out to you the next character from BIT+ Series 14 "Saturday Mornings 2", the leader of the AutoBots, Optimus Prime!! I remember crying when Optimus Prime died in the Transformers movie as a kid. That was some serious stuff for a kids cartoon back then. No one ever died in cartoons that I can remember. But at least we got Rodimus Prime out of it. I have design him one day. Transformers are one of those cartoons that will hopefully be around forever, much like the TMNT. I was so happy to enjoy the original cartoon series all over again with my boys. Transformer prime was a great series too (and Beast Wars). The movies started out ok, but the newer ones are just Michael Bay craziness, which is OK for time to time, but I want more out of the Transformers. There is more than meets the eye to them. Ha. Next up from BIT+ Series 14 "Saturday Mornings 2" is the character that originally was to be the main villain She-Ra Princess of Power, the captain of the Horde, Cat-RA!! Really liked this character. Thought it was cool that she would transform into a panther. Man, that series had so many cool characters. If they can bring back My Little Pony, someone needs to bring back this series. From BIT+ Series 14 "Saturday Mornings 2", comes the Princess of Power, SHE-RA!! I had be wanting to create this one for a one time and she is finally here. I have not seen that much She-Ra out there when I go to Comic Conventions, which surprises me. Would really like to see She-Ra get rebooted. I think it would be awesome. Much like the last couple BIT+ Paper Toys, this one came together very easy. It could be that I have done so many now that I am not running into the problems I would have when I first started, or maybe just the fact that I love this characters so much I already know what I want them to look like so it makes it easier. Next up from BIT+ Series 14 "Saturday Mornings 2" comes one of my favorite cartoon villains, from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, SKELETOR!! I think Skeletor is one of the best designed characters from He-Man. He was such a goof in the original series but because everything else was so goofing you didn't really noticed that much. His insults were so funny too. In the 2002 series, I thought he was done perfectly. I wish the series would have been able to have a third season so we could have seen Hordac plus how he and Skeletor would have acted towards one another. This was another paper toy design that just went smoothly. I knew right away how I want him to look and am very happy with the end result. Hello everyone!! I know with the last post I mentioned that I would not be posting any new BIT+ Paper Toys for the next month so I could catch up on some commissions, but I forgot that I had a full series already done and not posted online. Over the next week I will be posting BIT+ Series 14, which is the second installment of the Saturday Mornings themed BIT+ Paper Toys. First up we have one of my favorite cartoons growing up as a kid, and the 2002 series was really good as well, He-Man!! He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was a great cartoon, with wicked action figures. He-Man was the first toy that I remember having a lot of. And I had a lot of them. A few years ago I found a wicked Hordac bust that sits in my office. Hopefully one day I will find a cool Skeletor bust to go with him. There is not much to say about the He-Man BIT+ Paper Toy. Finally releasing the final two characters from BIT+ Series 13 "Trick or Screamers 2". From two of my favorite horror comedy movies comes Shaun, from Shaun of the Dead and Ash, from Army of Darkness. Both of these movies are great movies and if you haven't seen them, you need too. I can't even describe how good Army of Darkness. All you really need to know is that it is Bruce Campbell. Yes , the guy that made all those cameos in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man's. No, not Stan Lee. The other guy that made cameos in all the movies. The ring announcer in Spider-Man 1, the dick Usher in #2 and the prick Maître 'd in #3. If you thought those parts were funny, Army of Darkness is all that wicked awesome Bruce Campbell, only younger. As for Shaun of the Dead, it made Zombies fun again. There were too many movies were Zombies weren't really true Zombies. They were crazy rabid monsters. Not my kind of Zombie. Shaun of the Dead was such a blast from start to finish.
